Responsible and certified

At Nini, we believe it is important to grow roses sustainably and give back to the community. The nursery is certified according to Fairtrade, GLOBALG.A.P., MPS-A, MPS-SQ and Kenya Flower Council Silver.

Through our Fairtrade committee, we have set up various projects with local schools over the past ten years, with a particular focus on education. The children of our employees are supported in their education through Fairtrade. In addition, there is a childcare facility and various other projects are set up to support our people.

We are also constantly working on improvement in the environmental field. In cultivation, we work as much as possible with biological inputs and we are constantly looking for improvements in cultivation and processes. In addition, we are actively working to reduce our CO₂ footprint. Nini is the largest flower exporter in Kenya that exports flowers via sea freight, an important contribution to reducing the environmental impact.
